Durch uraltes Kulturland mit majestätischen Villen, mittelalterlichen Burgen sowie stillen, abgelegenen Klöstern fahren Sie auf einsamen Panoramastraßen über San Gimignano in die Etruskerstadt Volterra. Während Ihrer geführten Besichtigung dieser pittoresken Altstadt werden Sie die hohe Kunstfertigkeit der Alabasterkünstler in einem der Ateliers bestaunen. Weinberge mit renommierten Namen und das toskanische „Erzgebirge“, prägen die Landschaft auf Ihrer Oldtimer Etappe zurück zum Hotel. Tuscany is one of the most picturesque regions of Italy. It impresses with its unique and diverse landscape. Vineyards mingle with olive trees and alternate with the original bareness of the countryside. This sparseness is broken up by lanes of towering cypress trees. Little-used roads wind their way up hills and run through small sleepy villages. Like a backdrop from a 1950’s Italian film.
With Nostalgic you drive on selected routes in Tuscany. Many of them were also sections of the legendary Mille Miglia race. But Tuscany does not only make the hearts of car enthusiasts beat faster. It also offers lovers of culture cities such as Siena and San Gimignano and places of interest such as the fortress at Monteriggioni. Even in the weeks before the world-famous horse race, the Palio, in Siena, you might be able to watch the teams during their rehearsals and preparations for the big race. They stroll through the city in their period costumes and practice on their drums preparing for the perfect entry to the Piazza del Campo.

Of course, a good wine should not be missing in this area. The Tuscan wines impress with their extraordinarily full taste. A classic and certainly the most famous wine is the ruby red Chianti. A black rooster on a gold background, the "Gallo Nero", adorns the label of the Chianti wines. A large number of fattories offer interested wine lovers on site the opportunity to convince themselves of the top quality of their wines.

It was an absolute delight and privilege having partaken in your Tuscany tour. Both my partner Rebecca and I weren’t too sure how regimented or strict things would be ( and justifiably so given the nature and rarity of the vehicles) and were just super impressed how generous your company is in letting us drive on such long excursions with these lovely cars. Also the added attention to details like wine tasting and tours of some of the towns was fantastic and a lovely bonus. Secondly the accommodation that you have selected is fantastic. The Borgo Scopeto Relais felt really special and was a perfect backdrop to the splendor of your cars showcased in that environment. Your cars are absolutely lovely. Beautifully presented and the ones that I selected during the tour being the metallic green 280SL , the baby blue Pagoda, the silver 300SL and the copper colored 250 pagoda were just sensational both in presentation and performance. Truely a dream come true. Additionally Alex, Noel and Khari were absolutely fantastic. Bexs and I were so impressed with their demeanour … all professional, kind , polite and attentive. Honestly, we could not fault them and really enjoyed their company. A big thank you for your selection of lovely staff. We absolutely loved everything about it and I congratulate your company for providing such a unique and wonderful experience.

During our four-day adventure, we were provided such a choice from a multitude of classic 113 Pagodas and R107 SL's to ply the back roads of Tuscany. Those routes wound through heavenly landscapes and intriguing Italian cities, and, without a doubt, their operation is the height of classic, relaxed motoring in an exceptional environment. You don't have to go fast in a convertible, especially in Italy, with a Mercedes-Benz convertible. The fresh country air and sunshine provide you with all of the makings of La Dolce Vita.

The Drives over the four days were very enjoyable and each destination was fascinating and interesting. The Tour Guides for the various tours were knowledgeable and entertaining. Tuscany was a very enjoyable experience with stunning views and a joy to drive in an open top Mercedes SL. The entire Tour was well organised and the Host, Felix, made it enjoyable for all of us. The restaurant in Siena for the Group Dinner was very nice and the food was excellent.

Wir sind derart begeistert, dass wir gar nicht wissen, wo wir anfangen sollen...
Zunächst ist diese Reise für denjenigen, der der Fahr- und Markenkultur des besten Automobilherstellers der Welt verfangen ist, schonmal von diesem Aspekt her betrachtet, eine/diese außergewöhnliche Reise wert. Doch was Walter und sein Team um den vorgenannten Mercedes-Benz Aspekt erweitert in Ausgestaltung, Betreuung im Rahmen dieser fantastischen Ausfahrten in der magischen Landschaften der Toskana packen, ist einfach nur MEGA!!!
Es gibt darüberhinaus auch kulturell beleuchtete Aspekte mit ebenso gebuchten Premium-Stadtführern, die einem die beeindruckende Geschichte der Toskana und deren bedeutender Städte wie Volterra, Siena etc. näherbringen - also es wird auch noch etwas für die "Birne" mitgenommen. Sämtliche diese Reise betreffenden Bestandteile sind Premium und meine Frau und ich haben diese 3 Tage der Ausfahrten mit wechselden SL-Modellen der verschiedenen Epochen mit einem Erholungswert vergleichbar 2 Wochen derem empfunden, sodass wir für uns bereits entschieden haben, in 2020 die nächste SL-Ausfahrt an der Cote dÁzur zu buchen!
