Targa Florio Classic \u2013 winding mountain roads and picturesque coastal villages<\/h2>\n

Day 1: Arrival in Palermo<\/strong><\/h3>\n

We await you at the 'Falcone e Borsellino' airport outside of Palermo and accompany you to the beating heart of the Sicilian capital. Your Boutique Hotel \"Quinto Canto\"<\/strong> is located in an old noble palace in the middle of the old town of Palermo, on the \"Quattro Canti\" surrounded by baroque architecture. After checking in, you will get to know the most important sights on an extensive guided tour. We end the first day with a traditional Sicilian dinner in the old town.<\/p>\n

Day 2: Start of the \"Targa Florio\" in Palermo<\/strong><\/h3>\n

We make our way early to the \u201cMuseo Storico dei Motori e dei Meccanismi\u201d<\/strong>. The paddock and the starting ramp<\/strong> are housed on the extensive university campus. The first day of the race is the perfect moment to get up close and personal with the participating sports cars and teams. We will then drive you to the \"Vallegrande Nature Resort\"<\/strong> in Cefal\u00f9. \"Your\" Alfa Romeo Spiders are already waiting for you here for the first drive, where you will meet the Targa Florio teams on their afternoon stage towards Palermo.<\/p>\n

Day 3: The Gran Circuito delle Madonie<\/strong><\/h3>\n

After breakfast, choose your favorite Alfa Romeo and we drive to the Madonie mountains. In Floriopoli we pass the historic grandstands with the former pit lanes of the Targa Florio<\/strong>. The perfect place to experience the passage of the participating sports cars and vintage cars. Then you start on along nearly endless serpentine roads in the mountains, far beyond the tree line! At an altitude of 2,000 meters you follow the original circuit of the race, the so-called \"Circuito delle Madonie\"<\/strong>. Our lunch stop Collesano is a small Sicilian town submerged in picturesque landscape, cobblestone streets, churches and chapels. In the local Targa Florio Museum<\/strong>, the history, triumphs and tragedies of the Targa Florio are meticulously retold with great passion.<\/p>\n

Day 4: The Madonie Nature Park<\/strong><\/h3>\n

We are drawn to the gracefulness of the rugged mountains and gorges of the Madonie. Let the sporty heart of our Alfa Romeo run free today and conquer the country roads on which the Milanese brand was extremely successful for decades. Be prepared to encounter flocks of sheep and deer more often than oncoming traffic. You'll love the winding country roads and small towns where Alfa Romeo racing cars triumphed in the Targa Florio's early decades. Whether it's Cerda<\/strong> or Caltavulturo<\/strong>, Polizzi Generosa<\/strong> or Castelbuono<\/strong>, you are warmly welcomed everywhere in an Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider. In the evening you can enjoy the experiences of the day over dinner together in the old town of Cefal\u00f9.<\/p>\n

Day 5: Cefal\u00f9 and the Coastal Roads<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Today, after breakfast and check-out, enjoy the coast of Cefal\u00f9 heading east to Santo Stefano di Camastra. The last few kilometers are also picture-perfect<\/strong> before you say goodbye to \"your\" Alfa Romeo Spiders. In the afternoon we will escort you back to Palermo airport for your individual return journey.<\/p>\n
